Everyone is encouraged to attend these monthly meetings. This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from other cities, work together on solutions for our county, get to know how other cities handle issues, make friends and helpful connections, and learn what’s going on with the “big” issues we seldom have time to discuss at council meetings.

High Speed Rail: What are the Peninsula’s Real Options?

The wait is over, and the Peninsula’s hottest topic will be explored further: Is High Speed Rail a “done deal”? What will it mean for Peninsula cities? How can communities shape the discussion and impact the design of the country’s biggest transportation investment?

Robert Doty, Executive Director of the Peninsula Rail Program (the joint effort of Caltrain and High Speed Rail), will present the newly released and highly anticipated draft Alternatives Analysis Report for High Speed Rail and, of course, take your questions.

Park in legally–designated parking spaces only, permits not required for this event. Parking also available in elementary school lot just west of Ralston Hall

• From 280, take the 92-East San Mateo exit
• go .6m and exit at Ralston Avenue (#9A)
• Go .2m, turn left onto Ralston Avenue
• Go eastbound on Ralston Ave. for 2.6m, turn left onto the campus
• Follow signs to Ralston Hall

• From 101, take the Belmont-Ralston Avenue exit
• Drive 1.1m west to the campus entrance, turn right onto the campus
• Follow signs to Ralston Hall
